Mighty Mud Mania
Mighty Mud Mania is an event where thousands of kids get together for a muddy, slippery, sliding, messy race! It began in 1976, and the activity has been held since then. There is a mini mud course & puddle pools for kids under 6 years old and the age groups for the Mighty Mud obstacle course are 7&8, 9&10, 11&12 and 13-17.Through mucky, squishy, gooey puddles galore - this fun filled event is a loads of fun, and a huge hit with kids!
ArtWalk is a weekly event, held each Thursday night - a tradition of over 20 years. For two hours, galleries host special exhibits, demonstrations, and meet-the-artist receptions, complete with wine, champagne, and tasty hors d'oeuvres. Take a walk through the downtown streets on a Thursday evening to view this thriving scene!
Sunday A'Fair is a free afternoon festival of arts and entertainment, held during selected Sundays from January through April. The festival features concerts and performances by the Valley’s top entertainers, arts and crafts available for sale, hands-on activities for children and families and free docent-guided tours of the sculptures on the Scottsdale Civic Center Mall. The Scottsdale Arabian Horse Show has been a Scottsdale tradition since 1955, and attracts thousands of visitors and tourists. There are nearly 2000 purebred Arabian and Half-Arabian horses competing for various prizes and recognition, as well as over 300 vendors and exhibitions, and over 25 demonstrations and shows.
